My computer's screen is screwing up due to taking a hit on Friday. The colors go all Alien Map on me if the cover gets tilted the wrong way. I think it's due to a loose connection, so I'll be trying to fix that as soon as I can.

On the plus side, I now own an XBox 360 and I'm starting to get the hang of characters in BlazBlue. It's quite a fun game, and I haven't played a serious fighting game in quite some time.

I'm thinking of switching into computer engineering, as a final note. It seems to fit my passions a lot better than my current course.

And... that's about it.

So yeah... I've had a busy life for a good while here. I'm still working on personal stuff, but it's slow going. Life's hectic, annoying, and not leaving a lot of time to use this thing, so sorry I haven't been keeping up on journals much :(

I'm tending to write down my ideas a lot more than I used to, so maybe I can actually use some of the ones that've sat around for too long. Plus, after losing the use of my laptop for a while, and getting a new one, I now also have some test server software installed on this thing -- so I can test some code before it goes online. I don't trust that it'll be ready anytime soon, though.

Not much else to say right now. I just hope life slows down a bit, someday soon.

Loving the macbook so far. On a vacation of sorts, though I'll still be doing work here and there in between. I might get a chance to work on some coding for personal use, finally, but I make no promises there.

Still, I'm at least getting more design work done. I'll try and enjoy myself for the next two weeks!

A Macbook Pro to be exact! 15 inch, not too old at all. Damn, this thing's cute!

It's gonna take me a little time to get used to it yet, but I'm loving it already! I'll get it set up for the 'net connections soon enough.

Tesla's always been one of my favorite people in history. It's not too hard to see why.

Today, celebrate his life, forgive his nasty case of OCD, and thank him for having given us all AC current and electricity! Trust me, if you're reading this, you have him to thank in a distant way.

Also, anti-aircraft "death rays!" Sure, he never actually got to build them, but come on! That's archetypal mad science stuff right there. That, and all those lovely resonance devices he played with.

So, Happy Birthday, Niki!
